9:35 am - 10:05 am -- Power Plays for Women Leaders Leaders communicate with confidence, negotiate with precision, lead without fear. Join us to explore strong workplace practices and effective communication strategies. Critical conversations and how to go after what you deserve, want and need.

10:05 am - 10:35 am -- Narrowing the Wage Gap In an effort to close the pay gap between men and women, removing salary history from hiring and compensation decisions will level the playing field between applicants and put a stop to practices that force women to carry their lower pay status from old to new jobs. This presetation reviews current regulations and best practices to acheive compensation goals and work toward closing the wage gap.

10:35 am - 11:05 am -- Your Leadership Potential: Discuss how being in charge differs from contribution, what skills achieve results through team members and how interpersonal issues and disagreements can jeopardize projects, departments and teams. Look at ways to deal with conflict and and solve problems quickly.

11:05 am- 11:35 am -- The Art of Networking: Everyone is a networker, but in order to create opportunities for yourself, you need to be a connector. Making that genuine connection can be difficult for networkers, it's no longer about meeting at an event and collecting a business card. The real connection will help you develop personally and professionally.

11:35 am- 12:05 pm -- Reviving your Career: Actionable Steps to Achieve a Professional Renaissance. Whether you have stepped off your current path or returning after a professional hiatus, this session will look at what you can do to avoid or overcome a plateau, revive your career, and finding ways to follow your passion. What are some best practices for transitioning back into the workplace? How can you maintain a record of professional development, despite being on “break?” How can you “catch up” to be more competitive in your career of choice?

1:00 pm- 1:45 pm -- Building Your Value: Thinking strategically can help you frame your past accomplishments into a showcase that will help you transition into a stronger leadership position. This topic will help you look closer at yourself and start building a foundation around your value and contributions that impact your organization.

1:45 pm- 2:15 pm -- Women on the Web: Leveraging Social Media as a Means to Success: How can we use social media with the right balance between work and home? Learn how to successfully leverage social media platforms for change in your professional development, across various industries and in your organization.

2:15 pm- 2:45 pm -- The "It Factor": Executive Presence for Women "Executive presence does not come from a position or title, but from example and action. Second on the list of top 20 leadership traits survey of CIOs conducted by Gartner, Executive Presence. Understanding and Developing your executive presence is paramount for communcation power, consistency, influence, and strong leadership. This presentation will give you the insight needed to make that impact, communicate with clarity, plus recognize emotion in others.

2:45 pm- 3:15 pm -- Handle Difficult Conversations with Confidence: Is there a difficult conversation that keeps you awake at night? Learn a scripting technique to clearly communicate an issue and its impact, propose a solution, and inspire positive outcomes for a joint resolution. Explore techniques to diffuse anger in others and create safety in these conversations. You’ll improve teamwork and productivity by dealing appropriately with important issues and conflicts.
